The rear card was removed, along with the print and glass. The frame was retained, stripped and stained. The print and glass were then cleaned thoroughly.
New mountboard was chosen and cut. New barrier board and a new backboard complete the package.
The trick is to present an old album that was badly damaged, yet still be accessible and removable for playing. A card insert with plastic button for the spindle hole solution. More pics in Gallery 2.

BBMF frame holds Truvue70 anti reflection glass, whereas the Mowtown Frame is ordinary glass.
With an envelope of dirty and damaged pictures, we decided on the colours of frame and mountboard. After cleaning and repairs, I created several layouts, cut the board, hung the pictures and finished with a non-reflective, UV resistant glass.
